Surface preparation

On surfaces without protector and without varnish: Clean, sand and remove dust, grease, oil, waxes and small imperfections. On surfaces with aged and deteriorated varnish: Remove these layers and proceed as in the previous case. On surfaces with BARPIDECOR WATER BOTTOM protector (.2872) or WATER BARPIDECOR COLORS: Apply one or two layers depending on the applied hands of protector.

Before applying

Application temperature: Above 10ºC. Ambient relative humidity: Less than 80%. Humidity of the support to be applied: Less than 20%

How to use

Remove the contents of the container well. Apply with good air renewal, in thin, uniform and well-extended layers. Apply three hands, the 1st hand diluted by 5 – 10%; the 2nd and 3rd hand to use or slightly diluted (maximum 5%). Sand gently between layers to facilitate adhesion and improve finish. On tropical woods apply previously, depending on the type of wood, 1 – 2 hands of INSULATING SEALANT TROPICAL WOODS (Ref. I6860). Percentage of application: Brush, 1st hand diluted 5 - 10% with water. 2nd and 3rd hand to use or slightly diluted (maximum 5%). Gun, Depending on the nozzle and pressure used in the application. Previous background (optional): Barpidecor Water bottom (.2872) and/or Barpidecor colors.

Storage

Store in a cool place. Do not store open or started containers.
